IF APPLICATION RUNNING SLOW :

Setting An Application to Use the Dedicated GPU

To ensure maximum performance, please make sure that application uses the dedicated GPU instead of the integrated Intel GPU:

For NVIDIA GPUs

1. Open NVIDIA Control Panel:
   • Right-click on your desktop and select "NVIDIA Control Panel".
2. Manage 3D Settings:
   • In the left-hand menu, click on "Manage 3D settings".
3. Program Settings:
   • Go to the "Program Settings" tab.
   • Select your application from the drop-down list. If it is not listed, click on "Add" and browse to find your application executable.
4. Select Preferred Graphics Processor:
   • Under "Select the preferred graphics processor for this program", choose "High-performance NVIDIA processor".
   • Click "Apply" to save the changes.
5. Global Settings (Optional):
   • If you want to make the dedicated GPU the default for all applications, go to the "Global Settings" tab.
   • Select "High-performance NVIDIA processor" under "Preferred graphics processor".

For AMD GPUs

1. Open AMD Radeon Settings:
   • Right-click on your desktop and select "AMD Radeon Settings" or "AMD Catalyst Control Center".
2. System:
   • Click on the "System" tab.
3. Switchable Graphics:
   • Click on "Switchable Graphics".
4. Find Your Application:
   • If your application is not listed, you may need to run it once or click "Running Applications" and then "Installed Profile Applications" to find it.
   • If it’s still not there, click "Browse" to manually add your application executable.
5. Set to High Performance:
   • Click on your application and set it to "High Performance".
   • This ensures that the dedicated GPU is used when running the application.
